Followers honor departed Wa leader
Maha Hsang, Prince of Wiang Ngeun and leader of Wa National Organization (WNO), who passed away on 29 October was honored by his followers led by Lt-Col Teuk Merng on 4 November, the same day his remains were cremated in Chiangmai.

Raising fund for Nargis victims
On 8 June, 19 volunteers left for Dorking Thailand Festival. Their dances, communal where every one, dancers and lookers-on alike, could join and the Kinaree-Kinara (Mythical Bird) plus their souvenirs brought 397 pounds ($790). The group had earlier donated 450 pounds ($900).
