Insider confirms border Ecstasy

Drugs

An insider source, who talked to S.H.A.N. yesterday, confirmed the availability of Ecstasy, a hallucinogenic, popular among affluent Thai youth, across the border.

However, contrary to earlier reports, Ecstasy is not manufactured along the border. "They only compress the finished product brought down from Panghsang into pills," said the source. "The same goes for yaba (methamphetamines). Only heroin is 'cooked' here."
